A Shutt-erfly Valentine

Happy Saturday friends! Sorry I forgot to post this last night. I had some of my son's football friends over for a sleep over and things were a little crazy over here! They are really good boys but you can imagine how loud it can get when they are all having fun!

Anyhow, on to today's project.

I just love the template "shutt-erfly" from Lauren Meaders new store called My Time Made Easy. I used kraft card stock from Papertrey Ink to make the box. I just love how sturdy that card stock is. I wanted the red and black to really stand out so I left the decorating to a minimum. Sometimes simple can be so beautiful.
The image is from The Greeting Farm. I used the body of Stella and the head of Ruby. I just love all the new stamps Marie has been coming out with. Make sure you stop by her store on February 15th as she will be releasing a brand new line of Sprouts called the Cheeky Cherry Collection. If you haven't seen these girls yet, go check them out on her blog. They are so dang cute!!!

I made my box a little different from the actual template. I made it so that the top was removable so that the recipient wouldn't have to rip the box open. This box is a pretty good size too, I filled this one with a whole bag of those Dove chocolate hearts and as you can see, it didn't reach the top. I could have easily added another half bag.

Thanks for stopping by!

Around the corner.......

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that your new year is off to a joyous start! Sorry I didn't post any Christmas projects but I had so many orders and so little time! I don't think I took pictures of anything! Always struggling to finish my Christmas shopping and meet order deadlines! This Christmas was really crazy for me! Anyhow, I won't babble about that, I'm sure you were all pretty much in the same boat as me.

A friend of mine asked me to make a birthday card for her hubby. She wanted the Anya/Ian combo so this is what I came up with. Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner and this could very well pass as a Valentines card I thought it would be perfect to post right now. I cased this idea from somewhere on the web. Sorry, I don't even remember who it was....but I just loved how it looks like Ian is thinking about Anya. Too cute!

Well, I hope you all have a beautiful week! Thanks for stopping by!

Savannah is Oh So Pretty!!!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I know I sure did!
Although I was super busy, I did manage to whip up this card at like 5 am Saturday morning!
Yeah, I was up at the crack of dawn getting ready for my son's football game when this little number popped into my head. This card features TGF's Savannah and I think she is absolutely adorable! I had stamped and colored her a while back but never did anything with it, so here is the card that I finally put together!

Have a great day everyone!

Pumpkin Head

I can't believe Halloween is right around the corner! I made this box a few weeks ago thinking I could put it aside to post later (since I've been so lazy to post!) but this morning I looked at the date and totally spazzed out! So here it is, before Halloween comes and goes without me putting this up. Ha!
This box was made using Lauren Meader's Tucked Away template and TGF's Spooktacular set. Kinda hard to tell that I just love everything Lauren Meader and Greeting Farm!
This box can hold 3 of these Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone!

Creepy Crispies

With Halloween just around the corner, I figured I'd better hurry up and post these up before it passes! Can you believe that it'll be October already? Where did the days go!? Anyways, I had a whole box of rice crispy treats that we didn't end up using for my sons football team so I decided to create a box to wrap them in for Halloween. It was really simple, I just measured the rice crispy treat and designed a simple little box that measures 2" x 3.5".
I think I will make these for my kids to give their classmates this year. Even though my kids are getting way too old to be passing out treats in school, their friends always look forward to what I'll be making them next. So it's always fun to make things for people who really appreciate them!
This cute little witch is from TGF's Spooktacular set.

Here's another one with Spooktacular's little mummy. He is so cute!
A close up of the embossed spider web pattern on the back of the box made with a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Isn't that just too cute!

Have a wonderful evening everyone! Thanks for coming to visit!

A blog award from Linda and Edward Cullen.....what could be better!

Good evening everyone!  Sorry I didn't post this earlier but I spent the whole day designing a blog for my son's pop warner football team.  Anyhoo, I wanted to post this awesome award that I received from an even more awesome woman....Linda!  You guys all know who she is!  She is not only an inspiring crafter she is a great and caring friend.  She always takes time to visit everyone's blogs and leave the kindest of words.  She and her BFF Kyoko have only had their blogs for a few months but they have sure come a long way and they both ROCK!
Thank you Linda!  I wish to pass this award on to all of you who follow my blog.  It's your uplifting comments that keep me crafting.

Okay, on top of my blog award Linda also sent me the US Magazines Sexy Stars of Twilight magazine!  How rockin' is that!?  As you all already know, we are both crazy for Edward Cullen!  This magazine makes me drool everytime I look at it!  Thank you Linda, you are so thoughtful!

When TGF came out with the Edward stamp of course I HAD to buy it!!!  I just knew I had to make Linda a card with it!  I know I'm late since I see that a few of you already beat me to it! lol!  But this is my thank you card to her:

It's hard to tell in this photo, but I added Crystal Snow glitter by Stampendous to his face and arms.  For those of you that are wondering why his skin is covered in glitter I suggest you GO SEE THE MOVIE!  You won't be disappointed!

This is the inside of the card.  Anya is supposed to be Bella.
Linda already received her card and goodies so it was safe for me to post it tonight.

Thanks for looking!  Have a great evening!

It's great to be back!

Boy oh boy it's so good to be back!!!  We finally finished moving and the cable guy came out today to hook up my internet.  I felt so lost with no computer all these days!  I had my Blackberry but it just isn't the same!  That little screen just doesn't cut it! LOL!

Well, I have been stamping (in between unpacking) and have created some cards.  I'll be posting them over the next few days.

First up is this 5 x 5 card of Annika from TGF.  I swear she is just a darling!!!!  During the move I received a shipment of paper from My Mind's Eye.  Seen here are "Pirouette and Jazz" from the Penny Lane line.  I just love pink and brown!

Next up is Superstar Anya from TGF.  This little diva is just too cute with her little boa!  This is another 5 x 5 card.  These are so much fun to make.  The papers used are also from My Minds Eye.  I used "lil Girl and Lucky" from the Laundry Line collection.

Well that's all for today.  I have orders to fill and some unpacking to do.  For those of you that have been emailing me orders, I'm so sorry I could not get back to you earlier.  But since my internet is up and running there shouldn't be any more delay in my reponse time.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.

  Have a wonderful evening!

Annika and a Card Couture

Have you guys seen the new release of templates by Lauren Meader over at Papertrey Ink?  This is called "Card Couture" and  it can hold a lot of A2 sized cards.
Anyway, a friend of mine who used to stamp with me many, many years ago quit stamping cause she never had any time.  Since then I have been making all of her cards for her.  After she seen all the images from The Greeting Farm she fell in love with them and has been wanting to start stamping again.  So to get her back into the groove of things I thought I would make her this gift.  Her favorite image is "Annika" so of course I had to put her on the front of the box!
Here is a picture of another angle so you can see the details of the handle.
Opened view.  Flap stays put with a velcro dot.
Used the Martha Stweart Scallop border punch for the detail on the back.
Instead of filling this card couture with finished cards.  I filled it with some Greeting Farm images to help get her started.  I hope she likes her gift!  TFL!  Have an awesome weekend!

Kawabunga Dude!

I swear this is the cutest Ian image yet!  This is Surfer Ian from TGF and I absolutely adore him!  My dad is an avid surfer so I made this Father's Day card for him.  I'm not normally into these bold and bright colors but I think this came out pretty cute!
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a beautiful day!

I'm back!!!

Hey everyone!  Boy has it really been a month since my last post?  Sorry to leave you all hanging but there has been a lot going on.  My daughter took a trip to Washington D.C. and came back home with the worse flu ever!!!  Of course with the "swine flu" going around, I was in a panic until her test results came back (4 days later) negative! Whew!!!!!  But she was really really sick and I was exhausted from taking care of her.  On top of that my son started track practice and I have been at the park from Monday - Thursday and at track meets ALL day on Saturdays!  Uggh no stamp time!  To top that all off, my landlord calls me and tells me that they decided to sell the house so now we have to move!  My husband and I have been looking for houses and that's no fun!  I'm exhausted!!!!
Okay, okay....enough babbling!  Sorry! Lol!
I did manage to make a few things I was just too lazy to take pictures and post them.  I'm so bad!  Well, I finally decided it was time to post something so you guys know I didn't fall off the face of the earth!
This card uses The Greeting Farm's "Sing" image.  Isn't she just the cutest!?  I swear Marie's stuff just keeps getting cuter and cuter!  How the heck is that possible!?
Okay everyone I'll be back tomorrow with more stuff.  Have a wonderful evening!

Ian and some cuppie-cakes

Who could resist a birthday greeting from Happy Chef Ian?  This image is from another great set from The Greeting Farm.  I've had this set ever since it came out but only got a chance to ink it up now. Isn't he the cutest?  I added Stickles to the cupcakes to give them some bling.
