Happy Valentine's Day

My gosh where has the time gone? I have been so behind in this blogging thing that I didn't realize that I hadn't posted any Valentine's creations and my internet was on the fritz yesterday so please bear with me as I will put them all in this post.

Here are a couple of gift card holders made with PTI's Cash or Charge template and Echo Park's Be Mine Collection. This line from Echo Park is my favorite Valentine line this season. Super cute!

This is what it looks like when you pull the tab to reveal your gift card. I just love this template.

Next up is a simple candy book box that I created. Sorry, I don't have a template put together. I just measured and cut as I went along and didn't write anything down. I'm sure you can find templates to similar projects online.
For this project I used TGF's Cheeky Glamour and Echo Park's Be Mine collection.

I used chipboard covered with DP for the covers and spine and finally gave those paper roses a try. They're so fun to make and easy too!

I just love using Ferrero Rochere candies (as you can see! LOL) They're so pretty and so YUM-O!

Here's a Lolli-Pop Along, again from PTI.
I made some of those lollipop flowers with some pretty tissue paper and stuck em in there. The flowers are kinda smushed by the acetate but I love how these turned out. I made these for my niece and nephew all the way in Texas. The stamp set and chipboard pieces used for this is by Martha Stewart.

Lastly, my daughter loves word art and she is always posting quotes and phrases on Facebook so I found this cute phrase on Lucky Lemon and decided to make her this picture frame. Very simple and plain but she isn't into all the frilly stuff. The other night when I was making those paper roses she was so intrigued with them so I had to throw a couple on here.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day, thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I hope you all had the opportunity to spend this day with all of your loved ones. I was in such a rush to go to lunch with my mom that I forgot to take a picture of the card I made her. This is a card I made for a dear friend of mine.

Simplicity

This will just a quick post today. Every Sunday my family comes over for a family dinner and they will be here shortly.

With Girl's Day coming up this week, I just wanted to share a simple card that I made for a dear friend of mine. I had these "Four Dolls" stamps by Hero Arts for the longest time and have finally inked them up for the first time. I wanted to keep it sweet and simple and I love how it came out.

I'll be back tomorrow with Girl's Day treats I made for my daughters friends using the same stamp.

Thanks for stopping by!

A Gorjuss Valentine

Happy Wednesday everyone! My gosh has it been over a month since my last post!? My goodness! Anyhow, I have been working on some Valentine's Day stuff and I thought I'd share some them with you before Valentine's Day passes! LOL! I know I have been a terrible blogger but please bare with me. I think you'll enjoy what I have for you today.

My boss asked me to make her a set of Valentine's Day cards. She just loves the Gorjuss Girls so she requested that I use them. I couldn't resist to make a cute matching card box to send her cards in.

Here is a close up of the card.

I didn't want to make all of her cards the same so I made some red ones using a different Gorjuss Girl. And of course I made a matching card box for this set too!
Here is a close up the the red card.

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with more Valentine's Day stuff!

Around the corner.......

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and that your new year is off to a joyous start! Sorry I didn't post any Christmas projects but I had so many orders and so little time! I don't think I took pictures of anything! Always struggling to finish my Christmas shopping and meet order deadlines! This Christmas was really crazy for me! Anyhow, I won't babble about that, I'm sure you were all pretty much in the same boat as me.

A friend of mine asked me to make a birthday card for her hubby. She wanted the Anya/Ian combo so this is what I came up with. Since Valentine's Day is right around the corner and this could very well pass as a Valentines card I thought it would be perfect to post right now. I cased this idea from somewhere on the web. Sorry, I don't even remember who it was....but I just loved how it looks like Ian is thinking about Anya. Too cute!

Well, I hope you all have a beautiful week! Thanks for stopping by!

Heartfelt Thanks

Now that my sons pop warner football season is finally over I can finally relax and get back into the groove of things. I really enjoyed spending all that time with the boys at practice everyday and games every weekend but it sure took a toll on me!

Here are the gifts I made for the ladies that helped to make our team such an awesome one! Our team mom, business manager and a few other ladies who put in so much time for our boys. I bought some Big Island Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies and some Godiva Chocolate Dipped Pretzels and wrapped them all the same with a matching card.

For the players and the coaching staff I put together a video slide show of the entire season. That was another project that took up most of my time! I had no idea what I was doing cause I had never made a DVD before so I had to teach myself how to use the program I purchased. Let me tell you.....it was a lot of trial and error and hundreds of photos to edit! But I was determined to get it right so that it looked professional enough to give as a gift. I must say that I was very happy with the end result!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Aloha Friday!!!!!

A birthday card for mom

Wow, can you all believe that I have posted two days in a row! Like I said, I have so much to share with you, I just hope I can keep up with this posting thing! LOL!

I'll have to keep this post very short. My 12-year old son and husband will be running in the Honolulu Marathon tomorrow and I have to wake up at 3 a.m. to drop them off! My gosh!
Wish them luck cause I know they'll need it!!!! I don't know what they heck they were thinking when they signed up for it! Guess I'd better get the Bengay ready!!!!

Okay, now on to my card.
Last month we celebrated my mom's 21st birthday (*wink*). She would seriously hurt me if I gave you her real age! Anyways, I bought her a gift certificate from Al's Tinting ( a dear friend of mine) to get a full tint job done on her brand new car. The gift certificate was rather large in size so I made this card 4" x 9".

The butterflies and sentiment used for this card are from C.C. Designs.

Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Savannah is Oh So Pretty!!!

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I know I sure did!
Although I was super busy, I did manage to whip up this card at like 5 am Saturday morning!
Yeah, I was up at the crack of dawn getting ready for my son's football game when this little number popped into my head. This card features TGF's Savannah and I think she is absolutely adorable! I had stamped and colored her a while back but never did anything with it, so here is the card that I finally put together!

Have a great day everyone!

Swiss Pixie

Good afternoon all!  I know I had promised you last week that I would be posting new cards.  Please forgive me as there were several unexpected things that came up that caused me to change my plans.  Nothing bad, don't worry, things around here just got a little crazy.

Here is a card using C.C. Designs Swiss Pixies Gretel.   Isn't she a doll?  This stamp was so much fun to color too!  If you're familiar with C.C. Designs stamps then you know that they are all super cute.  On August 3rd. they will be releasing some even cuter images!  I can't wait.

A blog award from Linda and Edward Cullen.....what could be better!

Good evening everyone!  Sorry I didn't post this earlier but I spent the whole day designing a blog for my son's pop warner football team.  Anyhoo, I wanted to post this awesome award that I received from an even more awesome woman....Linda!  You guys all know who she is!  She is not only an inspiring crafter she is a great and caring friend.  She always takes time to visit everyone's blogs and leave the kindest of words.  She and her BFF Kyoko have only had their blogs for a few months but they have sure come a long way and they both ROCK!
Thank you Linda!  I wish to pass this award on to all of you who follow my blog.  It's your uplifting comments that keep me crafting.

Okay, on top of my blog award Linda also sent me the US Magazines Sexy Stars of Twilight magazine!  How rockin' is that!?  As you all already know, we are both crazy for Edward Cullen!  This magazine makes me drool everytime I look at it!  Thank you Linda, you are so thoughtful!

When TGF came out with the Edward stamp of course I HAD to buy it!!!  I just knew I had to make Linda a card with it!  I know I'm late since I see that a few of you already beat me to it! lol!  But this is my thank you card to her:

It's hard to tell in this photo, but I added Crystal Snow glitter by Stampendous to his face and arms.  For those of you that are wondering why his skin is covered in glitter I suggest you GO SEE THE MOVIE!  You won't be disappointed!

This is the inside of the card.  Anya is supposed to be Bella.
Linda already received her card and goodies so it was safe for me to post it tonight.

Thanks for looking!  Have a great evening!

It's great to be back!

Boy oh boy it's so good to be back!!!  We finally finished moving and the cable guy came out today to hook up my internet.  I felt so lost with no computer all these days!  I had my Blackberry but it just isn't the same!  That little screen just doesn't cut it! LOL!

Well, I have been stamping (in between unpacking) and have created some cards.  I'll be posting them over the next few days.

First up is this 5 x 5 card of Annika from TGF.  I swear she is just a darling!!!!  During the move I received a shipment of paper from My Mind's Eye.  Seen here are "Pirouette and Jazz" from the Penny Lane line.  I just love pink and brown!

Next up is Superstar Anya from TGF.  This little diva is just too cute with her little boa!  This is another 5 x 5 card.  These are so much fun to make.  The papers used are also from My Minds Eye.  I used "lil Girl and Lucky" from the Laundry Line collection.

Well that's all for today.  I have orders to fill and some unpacking to do.  For those of you that have been emailing me orders, I'm so sorry I could not get back to you earlier.  But since my internet is up and running there shouldn't be any more delay in my reponse time.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.

  Have a wonderful evening!

Aloha Kitty

Happy Friday all!  The past couple days I have been in bed with some kind of cold!  I feel miserable but took a cold tablet and decided to clean my craft area while I'm feeling a little better.  Within the next couple weeks we will be moving to a new house and my craft area is a absolute mess so before I start packing up I have some major cleaning to do.

Here's a simple card I made a few weeks ago with this darling Hello Kitty Sizzix die.  She's a cutie!

Well have an awesome weekend! TFL!

Fun in the Sun with Trevor and Emma

Good morning!  Hope your Monday is off to a great start!  Well for me it's a bit hectic.  My son woke up this morning with a 103 degree fever!  I just hope he doesn't get it as bad as my daughter did a few weeks ago!  That was so NOT fun.  On top of that my kids both finish school on Wednesday so little ol' last minute me, is busy crafting away making thank you gifts for 14 teachers!  Yes 14!  Now that they're both in middle school they have 7 each!  My goodness!

Anyway, enough rambling.  Here is a card I made using the CC Designs "Sandbucket Trevor" & "Polka Dot Emma".  Aren't they adorable?  Colored them with my Copics and the DP is from PTI.
Have a beautiful day! TFL!

Surfer Emma

Wow I think this is the first time I actually posted three days in a row!  I surprise myself sometimes! LOL!  All kidding aside, have you all seen the cutie patootie stamps by C.C. Designs?  These little beach guys are so super cute!  This image is called "Surfer Emma" and she was so much fun to color.  It's hard to tell from this photo but her surfboard is layered to give it a 3D effect.  This card was so much fun to make!
TFL!  Have a wonderful day!

Kawabunga Dude!

I swear this is the cutest Ian image yet!  This is Surfer Ian from TGF and I absolutely adore him!  My dad is an avid surfer so I made this Father's Day card for him.  I'm not normally into these bold and bright colors but I think this came out pretty cute!
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a beautiful day!

I'm back!!!

Hey everyone!  Boy has it really been a month since my last post?  Sorry to leave you all hanging but there has been a lot going on.  My daughter took a trip to Washington D.C. and came back home with the worse flu ever!!!  Of course with the "swine flu" going around, I was in a panic until her test results came back (4 days later) negative! Whew!!!!!  But she was really really sick and I was exhausted from taking care of her.  On top of that my son started track practice and I have been at the park from Monday - Thursday and at track meets ALL day on Saturdays!  Uggh no stamp time!  To top that all off, my landlord calls me and tells me that they decided to sell the house so now we have to move!  My husband and I have been looking for houses and that's no fun!  I'm exhausted!!!!
Okay, okay....enough babbling!  Sorry! Lol!
I did manage to make a few things I was just too lazy to take pictures and post them.  I'm so bad!  Well, I finally decided it was time to post something so you guys know I didn't fall off the face of the earth!
This card uses The Greeting Farm's "Sing" image.  Isn't she just the cutest!?  I swear Marie's stuff just keeps getting cuter and cuter!  How the heck is that possible!?
Okay everyone I'll be back tomorrow with more stuff.  Have a wonderful evening!

Yoko & Ono

Just a short post today.  Here's a card I made while I was preparing for the craft fair.  I got my very first shipment of Ketto stamps a few weeks ago from Stamping Bella and just had to put everything aside to ink one of these cuties up.  This image is called "Yoko & Ono".  Aren't they sweet?  I didn't put a sentiment on this card, I figure I could add one when an occasion comes up.  Well, I've got a lot more of these Ketto cuties so I'll have more to show you soon.
Thanks for looking!
